All about Honey
Trained by Marianne Cheesecake at Burlesque Baby, it was clear from the very beginning that Honey Schnapps was, in the words of her marvellous teacher, “badass”.
In her first incarnation, Honey dazzled and delighted audiences with her debut ‘Bad Girl’ – a tribute to deadly b-movie femme fatales – and received a Special Mention at the Tournament of Tease.
Since then, Honey has appeared in many glorious guises including a homicidal biker girl, a devilish Victorian dandy, a tequila-possessed mambo dancing holiday maker and Flash Gordon.
Honey’s performances combine striptease with acting, comedy, spoken narrative and different dance forms including belly dance, mambo and Polynesian. And, naturally, there are lashings of badass attitude!
Offstage, Honey co-produces shows with comedy burlesque troupe The Rebel Rebels and charity shows such as Barelesque, which raises money for the Albert Kennedy Trust and was nominated for Best Event at the Erotic Awards 2012.
